There are two things wrong here.
1. What a waste of a great looking ’59
2. If the ’59 had been lower, then you’d drive a little slower.
Rule of thumb… low and slow people, lets keep the roads safe.

Kenny from the Carnales is back from the States, and he and some of the boys killed it over there meeting all sorts of people and attending all the best shows, cruises and swaps. Lucky for us Kenny isn’t going to hold out on his holiday snaps so stay tuned for more to come. First up are a few from the ‘Crusin For a Cure’, in Costa Mesa. This event is held as a fundraiser for prostate cancer research and is said to be the largest one day car show in the U.S.

This years Mcleans Island swapmeet truley showed the Committed Few who endured the rain on the Saturday morning. There’s something very familiar about this event. The square miles of garage contents layed out for sale and vendors selling yellow dogs. Seeing interesting people and catching up with mates and discussing what deals have been scored. The weather, rain or shine. Rain again! The same women belting out notifications loud over the speaker system, “would the owner of the blue Ford Telstar, registration FA245, please move your car from the Zephr club area. You are not permitted to park here”. Its great for having a yarn with interesting folk, seeing some cool vehicles, finding rare deals on parts or whatever and even getting mechanical advice. I didn’t get many photo’s this year, the weather was pretty shit house on the Saturday morning but here are a few.

I really dug this ’37 Chev Coupe. A true period piece that the owner was so happy to have it out of the shed, having it sitting around due to mortgages and kids growing up. 1937 black plates, 1942 GMC 6 from a war time workhorse, and it ran mint.
